CASSOPOLIS (WKZO AM/FM) – Two men were injured in a single vehicle accident late Friday night in Cass County.
Deputies report that they were called to the scene of a crash on Monette St near Robinson Rd in Jefferson Township just before midnight.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that three victims were being treated by first responders, and found that a car travelling east on Monette had left the road and struck a tree.
A passenger in the car, 21-year-old Brandon Gould, was airlifted to a South Bend hospital.
The driver, Brandon Kevin-Lee Bender was taken to a South Bend hospital via ambulance, and another passenger, 20-year-old Tommy Nehls Jr. was treated at the scene.
Seatbelts were worn, and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
