VAN BUREN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation has resulted in the arrest of one male in a South Haven-area drug bust.
Narcotic detectives from the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) West office executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1000 block of 6th Avenue in South Haven Township on Tuesday, October 6.
Upon arrival, the target of this investigation, identified as 22-year-old Daymion Archuleta from South Haven, was located inside the residence.
A search of the area turned up approximately one ounce of cocaine, drug proceeds, and other evidence of drug trafficking. SWET detectives were assisted at the scene by officers from South Haven Police Department.
Archuleta was arrested and lodged at the Van Buren county jail on the following charges:
- possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- maintaining a drug house
Archuleta was arraigned in the 7th District court of Van Buren county on Wednesday. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
