PORTER TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Tuesday, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announced that one man had been arrested in a stolen property and drug bust case.
Cass County sheriff deputies were called to assist the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office with a driver attempting to flee during a traffic stop in Porter Township.
Through investigation, detectives located a stolen motorcycle, a handgun and a large amount of methamphetamine. A 39-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, felony firearm and possession of stolen property.
The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
