EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – High schools in Michigan will be able to have more fans in the stands beginning October 9.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association has set new guidelines for indoor and outdoor sports attendance. Outdoor venues will be allowed to have 30-percent of capacity or up to 1,000 spectators.
Indoor sites will be allowed to have 20-percent seating capacity or up to 500 fans in attendance.
Currently only two spectators are allowed per participant.
Social distancing and face covering requirements are still in place.
