LANSING, MI — For the first time since mid-March and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, library card holders will be allowed back inside Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) buildings beginning next Monday.
CADL, which has 13 locations, will allow the general public inside its facilities for computer use by appointment beginning October 5.
The library system announced recently it would elevate its current level of service to include technology access. In addition to contactless item pickup, the district’s services will now include limited building access for a 45-minute computer session by appointment.
With 13 branches and a Mobile Library, the service area includes 23 different municipalities. Appointments can be made by contacting any CADL branch or by visiting cadl.org. Appointments are limited to one per day and include the ability to print up to 10 complimentary pages.
