HASTINGS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Barry County deputies are continuing their investigation into a crash on Friday that sent two to area hospitals.
The sheriff’s department reports that at around 12:55 p.m. deputies were called to the intersection of East State Road and Becker Road in Hastings Township for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Upon investigation, deputies determined that a Chevrolet truck driven by a 51-year-old Hastings man had not stopped for a stop sign at the intersection and had struck a Dodge truck driven by a 57-year-old Hastings man.
The 51-year-old man was airlifted to an area hospital, while the 57-year-old was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
No conditions are known at this time.
