MARSHALL – Calhoun County authorities apprehended a suspect wanted on an outstanding warrant Friday.
The 41-year-old Newton Township man had parked a truck in Leroy Township, and at around 9 pm, officers attempted to arrest him, but he resisted, and officers used a stun gun.
The man was not affected by it, and ran away from authorities.
A K-9 unit was brought in, and the dog located the suspect, who suffered a dog bite after being located.
The man was treated for his injury, and then taken to the Calhoun County Correctional Facility on the outstanding warrants and additional charges.
