DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Gas prices in Michigan are down 4 cents compared to a week ago. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $2.15 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 8 cents less than this time last month, but still 58 cents less than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $32 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $12 from when prices were their highest last July.
- Most expensive gas price averages: Marquette ($2.25), Metro Detroit ($2.22), Ann Arbor ($2.18)
- Least expensive gas price averages: Traverse City ($1.97), Lansing ($2.05), Jackson ($2.06)
Data also indicates that in Kalamazoo County, motorists are paying an average of $2.09 per gallon.
“If demand remains low amid consistent stock levels, motorists will likely see stable pump prices in the weeks ahead,” Adrienne Woodland, AAA spokesperson said in a statement.
