KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) – A decision has not been made regarding whether the USTA Boys’ National tournament will take place this year in Kalamazoo.
The event, known as the ‘Nats at the Zoo’, is set to begin August 7th, but officials with the tournament say that the USTA has pushed back an announcement on whether it will be held to the middle of June.
Officials with the event are continuing their efforts to insure that participants and spectators will be safe.
The tournament provides a 1.4 million dollar boost to the local economy.
