VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A fire completely destroyed a house in Columbia Township on Thursday morning as fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
South Haven Area Emergency Area Services reports that the fire broke out around 11:50 a.m. on 48th Street near 24th Avenue.
Arriving firefighters worked to put out the flames, which engulfed the entire home, and had to use water shuttled to the location by tankers.
No one was home or injured during the incident.
The cause of the fire is now being investigated by authorities.
