KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Multiple officers responded to a car dealership in Kalamazoo after a driver navigated his burning vehicle into its parking lot.
WWMT reports that the incident took place on the morning of Thursday, February 20th on Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo’s Knollwood neighborhood.
The male driver was followed by police cruisers as he pulled his truck into the Cole Nissan Car Dealership, and then walked out of the vehicle.
Surveillance footage released by the dealership shows the individual going behind the building before being taken into custody by officers.
The incident impacted morning traffic on Stadium Drive with responding officers blocking traffic both ways on Stadium Drive.
