ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two different cases of theft that have occurred in the last week.
Police say that on February 17, officers responded to a call regarding the breaking and entering of a home in the 22000 block of Riverside Dr. in Nottawa Township.
In this case, a handgun was reported stolen from the home.
Meanwhile, police are also investigating a vehicle larceny case that occurred on February 13. Police were called to a business on River St. in White Pigeon Township in reference to the case.
Police say that just before 4 a.m., a dark colored SUV was recorded on security cameras entering the employee parking lot. The suspect(s) in the SUV broke into an employee’s truck parked in the lot and stole an after-market JVC stereo.
The SUV left the scene shortly after.

The news of the vehicle larceny comes after the recent arrest of a different vehicle larceny suspect in St. Joseph County.
