MARCELLUS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a suspect thought to be involved in several area vehicle larcenies has been arrested.
Police say that deputies had originally responded to a call on 1/28/20 regarding vehicles that had been broken into and stolen from in the 100 block of Read St. in Marcellus, MI.
Deputies were able to identify the suspect in the subsequent investigation by using surveillance footage from cameras at multiple stores and banks.
The suspect was arrested around 7:45 a.m. on February 15 for larceny from a motor vehicle and theft of a financial transaction device. The suspect was arrested in Constantine, MI.
The case remains under investigation at this time and the name of the suspect is currently being withheld pending arraignment.
