BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — City officials in Battle Creek have announced another temporary road closure as a contractor begins work to remove large fuel tanks.
Beginning on Tuesday, January 7th at 9 A.M. Hamblin Avenue from Division Street to Beacon Street will be closed. In a statement released by the city, emergency vehicles will also not have access to the path.
Northbound vehicles on Divison Street will be able to turn west on Hamblin until the closure, but will not be allowed through until repairs are completed around 12 P.M. later that day.
Commuters who normally pass through are advised to seek alternate routes until work is completed.
