NEW ORLEANS, LA (WTVB) – Drew Brees had a record-setting night as the Saints crushed the Indianapolis Colts 34-7 on Monday Night Football in New Orleans.
Brees passed Peyton Manning for the most career touchdown passes and finished 29-of-30 for 307 yards and four TD’s in all. His 96.7 completion-percentage also set an NFL record for one game.
Michael Thomas hauled in 12 passes for 128 yards and a score as the Saints improved to 11-and-3.
Jordan Wilkins scored with under four minutes left to break up the shutout for Indianapolis. Jacoby Brissett passed for 165 yards as the Colts lost their fourth straight to fall to 6-and-8.
