UNDATED, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Today is election day but a high number of voters may have already cast their ballots.
This is the first November election with Proposal 3 in place including no reason absentee ballots and same day voter registration.
Kalamazoo Deputy City Clerk Shelby Moss says voters must drop off their absentee ballots at their local city or township clerk’s office by 8 p.m. November 5th in order for them to count.
Same day voter registration is also still available; however, new voters cannot register in a precinct. They must register at their local city or township hall in order to vote.
Those looking to vote today can find their polling place, registration status, and what’s on the ballot by going to michigan.gov/vote.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. November 5th.
