DEARBORN, MI (WTVB)- According to AAA Michigan, gas prices in the state continue to decline, falling another 10 cents compared to a week ago.
Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $2.41 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 24 cents less than this time last month and about 31 cents less than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $36 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; a discount of $11 from when prices were their highest last May.
The Michigan state average is at its lowest level since February.
Compared to last week, Metro Detroit’s average daily gas price decreased. Metro Detroit’s current average is $2.49 per gallon, about 6 cents less than last week’s average and about 26 cents less than this same time last year.
Most expensive gas price averages: Ann Arbor ($2.51), Metro Detroit ($2.49), Marquette ($2.48)
Least expensive gas price averages: Saginaw ($2.25), Grand Rapids ($2.29), Jackson ($2.31)
