DENMARK (WKZO AM/FM) – One beer company is breaking the mold when it comes to sustainability.
Denmark-based Carlsberg is working to create the world’s first paper bottle made from sourced wood fiber that’s fully recyclable and can hold your alcohol at the same time.
The company says it’s developed two research prototypes of the “Green Fiber Bottle” as part of its commitment to zero carbon emissions at its breweries.
Carlsberg hopes to achieve a 100% bio-based bottle free of polymers.
