UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) – Despite the fact that the majority of leaves in SW Michigan are still a lovely green, there are climatologists at work determining what kind of winter residents here may experience…and the news isn’t the best.
The two main elements that experts look at, the amount of growing snow cover this month, and the amount of arctic sea ice in October, seem to indicate that a harsh winter may be in the offing.
Those keeping a watch say that things may be more apparent later this month.
