KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Traveling around Kalamazoo’s Westwood Neighborhood is about to get a little easier.
Officials from the City of Kalamazoo’s Department of Public Services say West Main Street between East Westwood Drive and West Westwood Drive is now open.
The busy road shut down around noon last Thursday due to the water main break in the area.
A precautionary boil water advisory was also put in place for some homeowners in the area, but that was lifted on Saturday.
Now, crews have repaired the street and it is opened back up to regular traffic.
