KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Boil Water Advisory issued for residents living in the area of West Main Street in Kalamazoo has been lifted.
The city of Kalamazoo lifted the advisory on Saturday which had been put in place Thursday, September 19th.
Officials say those in the affected areas can now use city water for consumption as well as for all other purposes.
The areas that were affected by the boil water advisory include:
1. West Main Street – From Sydelle Avenue (western boundary) to Gilkison Avenue (eastern boundary), both sides of street.
2. Pinehurst – Only the northwest corner of Pinehurst and W. Main Street.
3. W. Westwood Drive – From W. Main Street (northern boundary) south to E. Westwood Drive (southern boundary), both sides of street.
4. E. Westwood Drive – From W. Main Street (northern boundary) south to W. Westwood Drive, both sides of street.
