GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Grand Rapids police are investigating two separate shootings at different times resulting in two deaths.
They both occurred early Saturday morning, one around 2 a.m. on Ionia Avenue SW near Campau Park, and the other around 3:30 a.m. near Diamond Avenue SE at Sigsbee Street SE.
Police are looking into what lead up to both shootings and are witholding the names of the victims pending notification of family. They say that both incidents have no apparent connection.
