VAN BUREN COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Fire crews from several departments are on the scene of a fire that destroyed a residence at 56609 8th Ave., Columbia Township (near Grand Junction in Van Buren County), according to South Haven authorities.
Firefighters were dispatched at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019. The house was fully engulfed in flames when the first firefighters arrived.
The occupants escaped without injury.
Columbia Township fire department was assisted by firefighters from Bangor, Bloomingdale, Lee and South Haven.
