MARSHALL (WKZO AM/FM) — A 65-year-old Marshall Township man is dead after he was trapped in his truck following a rollover crash in southern Calhoun County.
Deputies say they aren’t sure when exactly the driver lost control of his 1999 Jeep Cherokee as he headed westbound in the 16000 block of Division Drive.
It could have happened late Friday night or early Saturday. The wreckage wasn’t spotted until about 9:30 Saturday morning.
They believe the Jeep crossed the center lane, went off the road and hit a culvert, flipping the vehicle which landed on its roof.
The victim was found dead inside, still strapped to his seat.
An investigation is underway.
