MICHIGAN (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) continues working with Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigating an April 27, 20-17 firebombing of a home in Idlewild.
This week, the ATF increased the cash reward offered for tips leading to arrests and convictions, from $,5000 to $10,000. The Detroit Crime Commission is offering an additional $5,000.
In the early morning hours of April 27, 2017, a suspect or suspects tossed a Molotovcocktail through a bedroom window of a home in the 7600 block of Broadway Street. Thedevice narrowly missed a 5-year-old girl who was sleeping in her bed. The family managed to escape unharmed, but their home and the contents were destroyed.
