LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — Ari Adler, the spokesman for Governor Rick Snyder tells MIRS news that they have not yet received all of the 401 bills that were passed by Lame Duck lawmakers, saying House and Senate clerks were still processing them.
We expect to start seeing news releases saying he has either signed or vetoed some of them soon because the Governor is running out of time. It’s conceivable he may not get to them all.
Then incoming Governor Gretchen Whitmer would get a crack at them, and we already know how she feels about legislation coming out of this Lame Duck session.
If they don’t get signed by one or the other within 14-days of their arrival in the Governor’s office after the legislature has adjourned, they don’t become law..
