BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Police announced on Sunday afternoon that those responsible for the Friday morning robbery at the PNC Bank on West Chicago in downtown Bronson have been apprehended. No further details were released.
The robbery happened at about 9:50 a.m. Friday morning. Pictures of the suspect and the getaway vehicle have been released by authorities over the last couple of days.
PNC offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
It was later revealed the same suspect may have been involved in the robbery of a Flagstar Bank branch in South Bend, Indiana last Tuesday.
The Bronson Police Department thanked the public, media, and partner agencies for their cooperative efforts in the statement they released on Sunday.
