HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Tulip Time Festival visitors enjoyed spectacular weather over the weekend and Holland was literally jammed with visitors — but most expected crowds.
Tulip Time Festival volunteer Rita Falk spent her time directing visitors to Holland’s main attraction.
“Most of the people are interested to find out where all the tulips are,” she said. “Windmill Island, of course is a great place, Sixth Street, with all the plots there, is great, and of course out to Nelis [Dutch Village] to see the tulips there, is awesome.”

Today’s Tulip Time Festival events include the Art In Bloom competition at the Holland Area Arts Council, starting at 10 a.m. where visitors can also take in the annual Quilt Show.
The Carnival continues today, from 2 to 9 p.m., at the Civic Center Parking lot, at Pine Avenue between Seventh and Ninth streets.
