MATTAWAN (WKZO AM/FM) — Families looking to get outside this weekend can enjoy a winter activity day in Mattawan.
Representative Beth Griffin is encouraging families to see what the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery has to offer.
The event includes fun family activities including a winter scavenger hunt, snowshoeing, jig making and more.
The winter activity day will take place Saturday from 10am to 3pm and all are welcome.
The Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery is located at 34270 County Road 652 in Mattawan, just west of Kalamazoo.
Trails and feeding the fish are also open year round, at no charge to the public.
