VICKSBURG (WKZO-AM) — Environmental health officials are urging people to avoid contact with the water at Sunset Lake Park in Vicksburg after the discovery of high E.coli levels in the lake.
Signs were posted in the bathing beach area after a routine surface water test failed to meet state standards.
Additional samples will be taken Thursday. The new test results are expected to be released Friday.
