ARLINGTON TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Methamphetamine, drug-making components, marijuana, loaded guns, surveillance equipment and suspected stolen goods were seized during the investigation of a suspicious vehicle with an improper license plate in Arlington Township.
The 43-year-old driver is jailed on multiple felony charges and was allegedly high while driving the car.
Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies noticed the smell of pot coming from the vehicle during questioning. They also say the man gave officers a false name.
The bust happened near the intersection of 38th Avenue and 48th Street at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The incident remains under investigation.
