BRUSSELS (WKZO-AM) — The Battle Creek man who was injured in the terrorist bombing in Belgium just got a lift in morale.
Sebastien Bellin, the former basketball-player-turned-businessman who had both his legs shattered when bombs went off at the airport in Brussels two months ago, got to see his daughters for the first time since the incident.
Bellin said knowing he wanted to survive to watch his daughters grow up was one of the things that kept him going since nearly losing his legs in the attack.
Seven-year-old Cecilia and four-year-old Vanessa didn’t travel with the family when they visited last month because of school.
Bellin has undergone five surgeries and still faces many months of therapy. He still can’t stand up or walk.
