KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — City utilities in Kalamazoo have lifted their boil water alert for the neighborhoods on Kalamazoo’s east side.
It was prompted by a water main break on Gull Road on Thursday.
The Kalamazoo County Health Department, which was one of the agencies affected by the advisory, has completed bacteriological sampling within the affected area and verified that the water is safe to drink and for all other purposes.
The area included homes, businesses and other operations between Riverview Drive to the west, Parchmount Avenue to the north, Nazareth Road to the east and Kenilworth to the south.
