ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Two men are being sought by Michigan State Police for a hit-and-run crash with a twist near Three Rivers.
Troopers say the two men were test driving someone else’s 1998 Chevrolet Blazer when they accidentally struck a deer Tuesday afternoon and abandoned the vehicle.
They got a ride back to where the Blazer’s owner lives on Michigan Avenue near North Fisher Lake Road and left in their own vehicle, fleeing the area before troopers arrived.
Investigators believe the driver was injured in the collision with the deer.
The pair were last seen in a red Ford Explorer with a flashing yellow light on top.
