BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Battle Creek investigators are following leads after a shooting in the first block of Jericho Road put a man in the hospital over the Easter holiday with a round lodged in his lower torso.
The male victim was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo with a non-life threatening wound.
The victim reportedly isn’t cooperating with detectives. Officers have no one in custody and are offering little information on the victim or if they have any suspects.
The shooting took place at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
