KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Charges are expected to be filed against all three teenagers involved in a police chase and slide-off that resulted in a 15-year-old driver smashing into the front of the Arby’s restaurant at Sprinkle Road near Interstate 94.
No injuries were reported after the early Friday collision.
The chase began near East Michigan Avenue for a traffic violation, when the young driver refused to pull over. He sped south, losing control on the roundabout north of the freeway.
The driver is being held in the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home. The other two were released to their parents.
