PORTAGE (WKZO) — A woman from Portage and a man from Bitely are recovering from minor injuries after the car they were riding in slammed into the guardrails and a bridge support underneath Interstate 94 on 12th Street.
Portage police say the 22-year-old female driver lost control of her 2010 Ford at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday and had to be extricated from the wreckage by Portage Fire-Rescue.
Her 25-year-old passenger was able to escape on his own. Police are investigating to determine why she went out of control.
