BOSTON, MA (WHTC) – Well that did not take long.
Former Detroit Tigers’ General Manager Dave Dombrowski has been hired by the Boston Red Sox. Boston team officials announced last night that Dombrowski would take over as the club’s president of baseball operations.
Dombrowski was released from Detroit earlier this month after spending nearly 14 years with the Tigers. The former Detroit front office executive led the Tigers to five postseason apperances, four straight American League Central Division titles and two trips to the World Series.
