KEELER TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — A Keeler township man who held police at bay in an armed stand-off last Thursday for several hours has been formally charged with several counts, including felony assault for allegedly attacking a neighbor with a metal baseball bat, and possession of a sawed off rifle.
45 year old Paul Edward Hess was ordered held on ten thousand dollars bond.
Deputies also seized 4 rifles and three shotguns from the home in the 84-thousand block of first street.
He could get up to five years for owning the illegally modified rifle.
