DELTON (WKZO) — The Ervin Brinker embezzlement story has gotten a little bizarre.
The Attorney General’s office has now confirmed for this reporter that the former director of the Summit Point Mental Health in Calhoun County allegedly sent over half a million dollars to a Psychic in Florida, claiming it was for “healthcare consulting”.
Apparently Brinker didn’t get his money’s worth, or he would have known he was about to get fired and charged with three ten year felonies.
The 68-year-old from Delton has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit Medicare fraud and one count of embezzlement.
