HARTFORD (WKZO) — The mother of an eighth grade student in the Hartford Public Schools is suing the district, Hartford Middle school Principal Joel Passenger and other administrators in federal court.
The woman says her daughter has been kept home from school for several weeks because she’s been bullied, and staff members at the middle school have not taken any action.
According to the lawsuit, the alleged bully “talked about using a ball or bat with spikes or nails to hit (the girl) in the face.”
The lawsuit claims the boy accused of doing the bullying also has a history of intimidating, assaulting and threatening female students and staff members at the school.
