Kalamazoo (WKZO) — A Kalamazoo woman is being treated for gunshot wounds and her boyfriend is being sought for questioning after a domestic assault went ballistic in the 700 block of Duke Lane late last night.
Kalamazoo Public Safety says responding officers found a 20-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to her shoulder and arm. She had escaped to a neighbor’s apartment, and her boyfriend had walked away on foot.
The wounded woman was taken by ambulance to Bronson Emergency right around midnight. She is expected to recover. A K-9 track was unsuccessful, but efforts to try and find the suspect continue.
