ST. JOSEPH (WKZO-AM) — Michigan State Police say a 24-year-old woman whose body washed ashore in St. Joseph on Friday was one of two people swept off a pier the day before.
The discovery was made at around 8 a.m. Friday at Tiscornia Park, where the St. Joseph River flows into Lake Michigan.
U.S. Coast Guard officials say they’re still looking for the second person, who is described as a 23-year-old man.
The name of the woman was Brandi Mannino of Watervliet. The name of the man has not been released.
