LANSING, MI (WHTC) – There is a new state Treasurer coming as Kevin Clinton will resign, effective April 17th, to move back into the private sector in an undisclosed position. He served about 18 months after the departure of Andy Dillon. Governor Snyder has named Nick Khouri to replace Clinton as Treasurer. Khouri returns to state government after a stint with DTE Energy; he has been the chief deputy state treasurer and chief economist for the Senate Fiscal Agency during the Engler Administration in the 1990’s.
