NEWBERG TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County’s Sheriff’s Office is announcing that a two vehicle crash left two drivers with minor injuries.
Just after 2 p.m. Monday, police were called to the intersection of M-60 and Corey Lake Road, Newberg Township in Cass County.
Investigators say that a vehicle traveling south on Corey Lake Road failed to yield to the right of way of on M-60.
The southbound vehicle was driven by 23-year-old Tyelar Ilen Nelson of Three Rivers. He failed to yield to a vehicle traveling east, which was driven by 39-year-old Sturgis resident Matthew David Linihan.
As a result, Linihan’s pick-up overturned numerous times. Both Linihan and Nelson were transported to Lakeland Niles for minor injuries.
All parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not factors in this incident.
