KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is looking into a shooting early Friday morning in the 1100 block of West Paterson Street.
Officers responded to a report of gunfire around 6:15 a.m. When they arrived, authorities were pointed in the direction of the 700 block of Douglas Avenue near West North Street, where a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
The 22-year-old Kalamazoo man was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
