DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Tigers have signed fifth-round pick third baseman Colt Keith.
Keith is from Biloxi High School in Mississippi. The 18-year-old was also thought of as a pitching prospect with a fastball clocked in the low to mid 90s.
Keith was named Mississippi’s Gatorade High School Player of the year in 2019 after finishing his junior season with a .527 batting average.
