However, the downtown Kalamazoo location will still remain open.
The announcement can be viewed in full below:
“Dear friends of Theo & Stacy’s Westnedge,
After 40 years of serving our wonderful Kalamazoo/Portage community, we would like to announce the closing of our Theo & Stacy’s Westnedge location. When we closed in March due to COVID-19, we intended to reopen late summer, or as soon as the environment was safe to do so. During that time, we learned valuable life lessons and have come to realize that life is precious and our time with our friends and family is short. We spoke as family and decided that the time had come to enjoy our retirement. As such, we have decided to place our Westnedge location for sale.
We would like to thank our loyal customers who have visited us and allowed us to share in their special life moments. We would also like to thank our amazing team members, who without them, we could not have been so successful. Over the years, we did not just make good food, we created long lasting relationships. We cannot thank you enough for the loyal support.
As we move forward, we would like to share with you that our Downtown location is open and will remain open for many years to come! Stacy has decided not to retire and is throwing all her creative energy into the Downtown location. From décor changes to developing new menu concepts, Stacy is hard at work. The Downtown location will be here to serve you and your family for years to come!
As this chapter closes on the Westnedge location, we take with us a full heart. A heart full of memories and laughter and now tears. We are blessed to have called every one of our customers and our team members our friends. It has been our pleasure serving you at our Theo & Stacy’s Westnedge location for the past 40 years and we look forward to serving you at our Downtown location throughout the coming years.
Thank you, Kalamazoo and Portage, for your loving support and loyalty.
With much gratitude, Stacy, Phyllis and George, Tessie and Elliot.”
