WAYNE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Department reports that a 79-year-old Dowagiac woman died after being struck by a golf cart.
At around 1:30 p.m. Friday deputies were called to 67th Street near Dorchester Road in Wayne Township and discovered that Patricia Corbridge had been run over by a golf cart driven by her 83-year-old husband Edward.
First responders attempted to revive the victim but could not.
Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
