ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a donation in the form of a 10’x 20’ shed for Animal Control.
The donation comes by way of the St. Joseph County Animal Control Advisory Board, who were able to purchase the shed through their fundraising efforts.
This shed will be used to store food and supplies that are necessary for daily operations. It will also store the overflow of additional transport kennels for neglect and hoarding cases.
Officials with the department report that they are “excited” about the donation, which they say is much needed for operations.
Sheriff Mark Lillywhite and the department are thanking the Animal Control Advisory Board and all of the donors who made the donation possible.
